I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Julie Illidge and I am a Mother of 3 boys – Luke aged 9 and Rhys & Ewan (twins) aged 7. I am married to Martin which also makes me a step mum to Jack 18, Tess 17 & Ruby 13. We have lived in Grappenhall for the last 10 years and my boys attend St Wilfrids School.
I attended Bridgewater High School in Stockton Heath following which I trained as a chef at Hartford College. I went on to work at a few local restaurants around the south Warrington area, and then moved into food sales with sales becoming my career until I had my first child.
I was lucky enough to be a ‘stay at home Mum’ until the twins went to school and have subsequently been working in the kitchen at St Wilfrids School which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I have now however taken the decision to leave the school at the end of this year to embark on my own business venture.
Food has always been something I have been very passionate about and I now have the great opportunity of cooking the meals for your Children at Nest in the Woods. I have fed my children a very stable diet of fresh produce over the years which they have enjoyed and hope your children enjoy it too.
